"Another Beginning and Reimagining a New Discipline"

Organised by the Sri Lanka Medical Library.

About the Conference

The Sri Lanka Medical Library (SLML) is proud to inaugurate a series of regular annual conferences dedicated to the History of Medicine. This initiative stems from our commitment to establish a History of Medicine Study Group and foster academic interest in this vital field.

As a primary repository of archival materials on medical history, we consider it our duty to facilitate this discourse. The conference is proudly held in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) and the Sri Lanka National Commission for UNESCO.
